At Outreach youth we are very grateful for the support that we have received from BBC Children in Need to enable us to support LGBT*Q+ young people across Suffolk.
This support means that among the things that we are planning to do are
– maintain our Ipswich LGBT*Q+ youth group and run another one in Bury St Edmunds
– increase our one to one support across Suffolk
– employ skilled LGBT*Q+ youth workers
We were delighted to be asked to feature in the BBC Children in Need programme, online and radio coverage.
Alex did a fantastic job explaining what Outreach youth means to them and the difference it makes.
Here are some photos of Alex being interviewed by Shaun Peel from the BBC at the Outreach youth LGBT*Q+ youth Hub.
Thank you to BBC Children in Need and to everyone who has donated – the support makes such a difference to a wide range of children and young people.
